This skripsi is the result of the observation to answer the question of: How is the implementation of songs on learning English vocabulary at the seventh grade students of SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 25 PACIRAN ? LAMONGAN and how the responses of the students in using songs on learning English vocabulary.
In this study, the researcher used descriptive design to obtain the data concerning the research problems. This study focuses on the seventh grade students as subject. There are two instruments used in taking data: observation and questionnaire. Furthermore, the researcher set up observation checklist, questionnaire, and lessons plan.
The research findings show that the implementation of songs on learning English vocabulary is relevant to procedure of technique teaching-learning using songs. Using song as the media in teaching-learning make the students stimulated in the lesson because they feel more ease in learning and memorizing vocabulary, song can bring fun to one person who listens. Most of the students of seventh grade give positive responses: they are very enthusiastic and motivated by this implementation used by the researcher. However, some of students got bored.
