ABSTRACT


Learning text-based natural science today is increasingly not looking attractive because it is defeated by several things such as electronic media, games in the gadget so motivated to provide interesting knowledge in the era of modern technology with Android Platform smartphones about natural science learning media especially elementary school age as well Equipped with exercise questions according to each subject that can be used to test insights and knowledge for younger siblings. So researchers developed an application of natural science based on android. This educational app has the main features that contain natural science materials, materials, exam and experiment. This app was created using Android SDK framework, Java Programming Language and XML, Android Studio as IDE. Furthermore, the test system has been done by testing using questionnaires written as much as 20 respondents to the students of elementary school, especially the fourth grade considers that 85% of learning materials on the application is in accordance with the existing curriculum, 75% of users feel very helpful in the experimental examples are displayed and interact and Work on the quiz and 80% of users are interested in animation, and graphic illustrations.
