English is the most frightened subject for the students. It is caused they think that it is difficult for them. They feel shy to speak up and practice in English. They are afraid of making mistakes. Actually, the teacher can decrease their fear by learning fun, and make them enjoy with English. However, sometimes it isn?t followed by the good infrastructure.
The purpose of this study are to know the how the students pronounce English, the dominant error and find out the students? difficulties experienced by the students during the research running.
The study uses a descriptive qualitative design. The subject of the study is D class at the seven grade students of Mts. Mazra?atul ulum Paciran lamongan. The number of the D class is 25 students. The instruments used in this study were recording tool and test of pronunciation.
The result of this study that is about 76% of students does errors. It shows that there are two possibility the first, the students seldom hear the right pronunciation of some words examined and they used to hear a wrong one so it can be fossilize in their mindset.
