EFL STUDENTS? LANGUAGE ANXIETY IN THEIR ORAL PRESENTATION AT THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM OF UNIROW TUBAN
This study aims to determine the types and factors of language anxiety and the most dominant type and factors experienced by the fourth semester EFL students in their speaking for presentation subject at PGRI University Ronggolawe Tuban 2022/2023. This study uses a qualitative research design. The participants in this study were seventeen students. The data collection in this study was carried out using questionnaire, observation and interview. From the data analysis, it was found that there are three types of language anxiety in the students oral presentation. They are : communication apprehension, fear of negative evaluation, and test anxiety. From the three types of language anxiety in oral presentation, communication apprehension 41% is the most dominant. Furthermore, there are five factors of language anxiety in the students oral presentation. They are : personal and interpersonal anxieties, learner beliefs about language learning, instructor beliefs about language teaching, classroom procedures, and language testing. From the five factors of language anxiety in oral presentation, personal and interpersonal anxieties are the most dominant.
