ANALISA PERAWATAN EXCAVATOR DENGAN METODE RCM (Reability Centered Maintance) DI PT SINAR ASIA FORTUNA (SAF)

PT. Sinar Asia Fortuna (SAF) Persero, adalah salah satu perusahaan perseorangan yang bergerak dibidang penambangan batu kapur (lime stone) sering mengalami permasalahan breakdown mesin Excavator . Hal tersebut menghambat jalannya proses produksi yang berdampak pada terhambatnya pengiriman batu kapur (lime stone) ke sejumlah pabrik. Pada saat dilakukan penelitian, PT. Sinar Asia Fortuna (SAF) menerapkan sistem pemeliharaan Corrective Maintenance, yaitu melakukan perbaikan ketika terdapat kerusakan. Maka penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengusulkan sistem perawatan mesin dengan menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Metode RCM diharapkan dapat menetapkan schedule maintenance dan dapat mengetahui secara pasti tindakan kegiatan perawatan (maintenance task) yang tepat yang harus dilakukan pada setiap komponen mesin.
Subjek yang di teliti ialah sebuah Excavator Hitachi 330 ZX ,Terdapat 11 komponen yang sering mengalami kerusakan yaitu : Hose Main Pump, Pin Tooth, Fuel Filter, Hose, Nepple Grease, Oring C Joint, Valve Relief, Sleeve, W Belt, Oil Filter, V Belt. Dari Pengolahan data yang di peroleh Komponen yang Sangat kritis dan kritis adalah Fuel Filter, Oil Filter, Hose, W Belt, Nepple Grease, Oring C Joint. Dari Total Minimum Downtime di peroleh Interval Fuel Filter 70 Hari, Oil Filter 92 Hari, Hose 122 Hari, W Belt 122 Hari, Nepple Grease 68 Hari, Oring C Joint 274 Hari. Rekomendasi tindakan perawatan yang diberikan untuk kategori berdasarkan kondisi tindakan Condition Directed (CD), Dan kategori berdasarkan waktu Time Directed (TD), Rekomendasi Tindakan perawatan yang adalah jadwal pergantian komponen berdasarkan Interval Downtime yang telah ditentukan, kategori temuan kerusakan (FF) Direkomendasikan pergantian komponen apabila tingkat kerusakan melebihi batas toleransi. Penurunan nilai Downtime Fuel Filter 2,85% , Oil Filter 2,16% , Hose 1,63% , W Belt 1,62% , Nepple Grease 3,13% , Oring C Joint 1,26%.
