This study focuses on ? The analysis of morpheme used in a movie ?Jumanji : Welcome to the jungle? script. The purposes of this study are to describe the kinds of morpheme used in a movie ?Jumanji : Welcome to the jungle?. This study is also to find out the dominant morpheme in Movie ?Jumanji : Welcome to the jungle? script.
In collecting the data, the researcher uses the procedure of collecting data. They are watching the movie, identify the kinds of morpheme, coding the data, grouping the data based on the type of morpheme.
After analysis the script of movie, the writer finds that there are 2 free morpheme and 1 bound morpheme in dialogue 1. There are 3 free morpheme and 2 bound morpheme in dialogue 2.
Totally free morphemes of those data are 525 and bound morpheme are 208. It can be concluded that the dominant morpheme is bound morpheme because one word can consist of more than one bound morphemes. For example : the word ?exports? has prefix ?ex?, stem ?port? and suffix ?s? so it consists of one free morpheme ?port? and two bound morpheme ?ex- and ?s? .
