This study is conducted to find out the students? meta-cognitive learning strategies in their oral presentation. The first is to describe the metacognitive strategies in their oral presentation at the fourth semester students at English Language Education Department Unirow Tuban. And the second is to know the reasons why the students use this strategies. The researcher tried to focus in the students metacognitive strategies in their oral presentation in the: centering, planning and arranging and evaluating stages. the data were collected through classroom observation, quesstionaire, and interview. Further, the data analysis was conducted mix method quantitative and qualitative, but quesstionaire in only to find out the metacognitive strategy level in the students. Result of this study revea that, to find the level they use the most, they have to complete Oral Communication Strategy Inventory (OCSI). There are 20 statements that the students need to answer. Metacognitive strategies level, the students have to complete the questionnaire. This questionnaire, there are five options 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 . 1 means (Never), 2 means (Seldom), 3 means (Sometimes), 4 means (Often), 5 means (Always) . The result will classify the students into three categories of metacognitive strategies, low, medium, and high. Most of them commonly have medium metacognitive strategies. The researcher divided the level of the students into three categories. Students who get score below 60, they have low metacognitive strategy level. Students who get score more than 70, they are indicated that they have high level of metacognitive strategy while students who get score between 60 to 70 they had medium learning strategy level. The data average between centering, planning and arranging, and evaluating, and then the metacognitive strategies found in this study is in medium-level of usage.
