This purposes of this study were to examine the effectS of independent variables of learning strategies expository, problem posing, and prior ability (high and low) on the dependent variables of the learning outcomes of calculus and creative thinking skills, for Mathematics Education students of Universitas PGRI Ronggolawe Tuban. This study used a quasi experiment design factorial 2x3, and was conducted in Unirow Tuban in semester 2 of the academic year 2014/2015. The subjects of this study were Mathematics Education students in Unirow Tuban who attended Calculuc II classes, consisted of 31 students of class A, taught by problem posing learning strategy, and 23 of class B, taught by expository learning strategy. This study results indicated that 1) there was a significant effect of learning strategies expository, and problem posing on the learning outcomes of calculus, 2) there was a significant effect of student? prior ability on the learning outcomes of calculus, 3) there was a significant effect of learning strategies expository, and problem posing and the prior ability on the learning outcomes of calculus, 4) there was a significant effect of learning strategies expository, and problem posing on the creative thinking skills, 5) there was a significant effect of the student ?prior ability on the creative thinking skills, 6) there was a significant interaction effect of the learning strategies expository, and problem posing and the prior ability on the creative thinking skills.
